A Final Thought for 2025

With our review of the year now sent out to those on our mailing list we start to think about the achievements and challenges we had in 2025 and those that await us in 2026.

We seem set for more regulation whilst there is also a drive to improve the services social housing residents receive. In the latter we believe that the sector is ahead of the game but it will continue to draw upon the skill and hard work of committees and staff in the sector. We hope that others will learn of the benefits of tenant management and that the sector will get both the backing and recognition it deserves. For all the talk about empowerment, the Right to Manage remains a secret living in plain sight that deserves more from landlords and government than has been the case for many years.

The NFTMO will continue to engage across the social housing sector to raise the flag for TMOs and Co-ops and we hope to see you at future Regional and National events.
