New – Social Housing Innovation Fund
We have received news that the Ministry for Housing, Communities and Local Government (MHCLG) are launching a new Fund “…designed to improve social housing residents’ experiences of their homes and landlord’s services.”
The £1m Fund is seeking applications for projects that “…aim to test innovative approaches to improving tenants’ engagement with their landlords and strengthen residents’ voice on matters that affect their homes.”
It is looking to fund 15-20 projects with an expected funding range of £60-100,000 although bids under £60,000 will also be considered. The letter issued by MHCLG gives further details and there is a free webinar on 22nd October via the Disruptive Innovators Network and places can be booked here.
Applications are welcome from across the social housing world, including TMOs, and applications can be from individual organisations or partnerships.
