NFTMO Awards – Lifetime Achievement 2
There can’t be many in the world of tenant management who have not worked with Liz.
From her roots as a tenant activist in London in the 1980s through her work with two councils in the 1990s and establishing her own consultancy in 2000 Liz has been a champion of tenant management.
A regular face at the NFTMO Conference where she has run workshops across a range of subjects, she has been forthright in her views about what makes a good TMO. All the while delivering support, assistance and, on occasion, constructive criticism to those she was engaged by.
In addition, she authored both the statutory guidance on calculating TMO allowances as well as the NFTMO’s own guide to the subject. She was (and is) an independent Approved Assessor of TMO competency for the government. For the NFTMO she also wrote a guide to allocations.
She has helped many TMOs renegotiate their management agreements and ensured that their allowance calculations were correctly calculated. She is more than a TMO consultant she’s a TMO Champion and we wish to recognise the impact she has had on our field over such a long period of time.
