DLUHC Consultation Responses
The NFTMO has recently responded to the consultations undertaken by the Department of Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) regarding proposals to introduce legislation around condensation, damp and mould (Awaab’s Law) and draft instructions to the Regulator of Social Housing (RSH) to develop a Competency and Conduct Standard (professionalisation) for social housing providers.
An online session for TMOs was facilitated by NFTMO in February on both subjects and officers from DLUHC gave presentations and took questions from members. The NFTMO encouraged all members to respond individually, but the NFTMO responses can be found
