Did you know that, from November 2025, all new tenancies must have an Electrical Installation Condition Report (EICR) before the start of the tenancy?

From May 2026, ALL tenancies must have a valid report within 28 days of an inspection and that inspections MUST be carried out every 5 years for all tenancies.

If your TMO is not responsible for the testing of electrical safety you need to ensure that you have access to the reports for all of the homes you manage so that you can issue them to tenants when they sign up for a new tenancy.
