Improving the Energy Efficiency of Socially rented homes – Government Consultation
The third consultation announced on 2nd July concerns proposals t0 introduce a Minimum Energy Efficiency Standard (MEES) for the social rented sector.

The consultation should be considered in tandem with the decent homes standard review and can be accessed here. The consultation runs until 11.45pm on Wednesday 10th September 2025
